Face Reflexology

Face Reflexology brings balance to the entire body through facial mapping and pressure points. When a specific area is stimulated, it triggers your brain to communicate with the corresponding organ helping it to reset and restore any imbalances that may be disrupting it from functioning properly. This technique can help reduce inflammation, ease body discomfort, strengthen your immunity, improve circulation, enhance your skin tone, ignite your digestive fire, and restore healthy sleeping patterns.

Facial Gua Sha

Facial Gua Sha uses a contoured stone to glide across the skin, helping to break up fascia and relieve tension in the face, neck, and shoulders. Opening up these pathways will encourage the lymphatic system to drain by assisting your body to rid of waste. This technique will firm the skin, boost blood circulation, reduce puffiness, minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and help reduce congestion, dark spots, and blemishes.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses long rhythmic strokes with light pressure, to increase the flow of the lymph by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps reduce toxins in your body. This technique will help strengthen your immune system while transporting nutrients and oxygen to your cells resulting in healthier pores, reduced swelling, quick healing of scar tissue, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and under-eye puffiness.

Balancing your mind and body through whole plant holistic facials and Ayurvedic treatments.

Ayurveda is much more than a fad. It is a lifestyle, a philosophy, and a way to understand ourselves a little bit better.

Ayurvedic Skincare Philosophy

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is much more than a fad. It is a lifestyle, a philosophy, and a way to understand ourselves a little bit better.

Pronounced Aye-your-vay-duh. Ayur meaning life or living, and Veda meaning science or knowledge. Ayurveda is simply “The Science of life.” It is one of the world’s oldest holistic whole-body healing systems that originated from the Vedas of India over 5,000 years ago.

Ayurveda brings awareness to the importance of the mind-body connection and helps us recognize the effect that our consciousness has on our health.

This ancient science reveals how to understand ourselves through the laws of nature, helping one to achieve optimal health and longevity so that the body can age gracefully.

The Ayurvedic approach on skin...

According to Ayurveda, when you have a deep sense of ease within the body, a calmness that is being nurtured by your senses (what you're absorbing through your eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin), this will allow your mind, body, and soul to be in harmony. Experiencing this sense of wholeness is what will allow one to effortlessly radiate true beauty outwards.

In other words, this inner balance will be reflected in one’s skin.

My skincare philosophy…

Just like Ayurveda, I look at the body as a whole. When the skin is showing “symptoms” such as puffiness, hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness, blackheads, etc, it is trying to communicate that something is out of balance. I look for these imbalances by diving deeper into your diet, lifestyle, and skincare choices.

At times, our bodies need a little guidance away from our daily stressors to rebalance themselves out. This is why all of my treatments are non-invasive while incorporating Ayurvedic practices that relax the nervous system and reset the mind.

With a therapeutic touch, I combine whole-plant ingredients filled with prebiotics, which are natural fibers and sugars that actually act as food for the skin’s microbiome; rather than synthetic or laboratory-made ingredients that may do more harm.

Your peace and happiness are important to me, and I want to share my knowledge so you can take your beauty power back into your own hands.

Testimonials

The facial I had with Katrina was by far the best facial treatment I have ever received. Katrina took the time to ask questions in order to get to know my skin and lifestyle routines so that she could customize the treatment. The facial itself was relaxing and rejuvenating. Katrina provided me with suggestions for products and techniques that have greatly improved my skin. I cannot wait to go back!
